Brett Munson, who also won this years Jack Nicklaus award, commanded the lead for the entire 2 day Peach State Professional Tour's Tournament at Champions Retreat just outside Augusta Ga. Munson carded a 5 under par 67 to grab a one shot lead over fellow TPMA player Casey Johnson in the first round of the Peach State. At the end of round one, the top 6 positions were just one stroke away from each other making for what should have been an exciting final round. However, Munson took the lead and finished the event in first place with a score of 69, 4 strokes ahead of the pack. Casey Johnson shot a 68, 74 to finish fourth with Jon Orchin in 9th place and Adam McKenney coming in at 16th.
